About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at a large UK airport in the Gatwick area. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for performing Predictive and Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including circuit breakers, transformers, and electrical panels.
  2. Conduct testing and inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure.
  3. Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of electrical systems.
  4. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal system performance.
  5. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. A Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
  2. 18th edition electrical certification.
  3. A testing qualification.
  4. At least 5 years of permanent work experience in electrical maintenance.
  5. An Airside pass (or ability to obtain one).
