CAMHS Consultant Psychiatric Role Available

We are currently recruiting for a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatric Role within the Enhanced Treatment Team in Brent CAMHS.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the Enhanced Treatment sub-team, offering consultation, and working with colleagues from local authority and education to assess and manage children and young people with complex mental health needs.

The role involves a generic service for non-urgent presentations, provision of a service to acutely mentally ill children and adolescents, and consultation to other team members regarding urgent assessments and risks.

The ideal candidate should have competence in psycho-pharmacology and non-medication therapeutic approaches, experience in the assessment and management of children and young people with complex mental health needs and high risk, knowledge of Clinical Governance/Care Quality, and ability to participate in Medical Audit and Quality Assurance.

The salary for this position is estimated at £120,000 - £170,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
