We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in CAMHS. The selected candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide a psychiatric service for children and young people, assessing their mental state, formulating diagnoses, advising on treatment, and monitoring risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality psychiatric services to children and young people.
  2. Collaborate with other agencies in health and social care as appropriate.
  3. Undertake referral meetings and case reviews as required.
  4. Provide opportunities for case-based discussion and teaching to the multidisciplinary team.
  5. Work creatively with other agencies involved with children and young people.

Candidates will be expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
