Paediatric Physiologist Assistant

Job Summary
The Department of Child Health at King's College Hospital is a leading provider of healthcare services to children and young people. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Paediatric Physiologist Assistant.
The successful candidate will work within the Chest Unit and Paediatric Respiratory Sleep service, assisting with the delivery of a lung function and sleep service. This will involve working with a team of experienced physiologists to provide high-quality care to patients.
Main Duties
- Assist in the provision of a quality-assured lung function testing service.
- Set up and return home sleep monitoring equipment.
- Download sleep studies and prepare reports.
- Assist with the delivery of home spirometry.

Person Specification
Essential
- 2 Science 'A' levels or equivalent.
Desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to work as part of a team.
- Experience of performing quality-assured spirometry, gas transfer, and lung volume measurements.
- Experience of setting up sleep studies.
