31 hours and a quarter - Term Time only, (includes inset days) (8:30am - 3:15pm)
Tudor Grange Primary Academy - Meon Vale is a growing school that values diversity and inclusivity. We are seeking a highly competent and enthusiastic individual to support a pupil with an EHCP in their educational, physical, and personal care needs. This includes one-to-one activities and small groups. The successful candidate will support teaching staff in delivering a quality curriculum in line with the school's vision and ethos. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing a nurturing approach to support pupils with additional needs, promoting a sense of belonging and independence.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff to deliver a quality curriculum.
  • Adapting activities to meet the interests and needs of the pupil.
  • Supporting the delivery of an individualized curriculum under the direction of the class teacher.
  • Being an excellent user of the English language, both orally and in writing.
  • Committing to the progress and success of the pupil.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs, highly professional, and able to demonstrate integrity. They will be aware of autism and early communication strategies, autonomous in their work, and flexible in their approach. The candidate will also be knowledgeable about the primary national curriculum and capable of supporting the delivery of an individualized curriculum. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is a commitment to the school's values and ethos.
