Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a positive impact on the life of a child with Autism.

About the Role:

This full-time, long-term position involves supporting a student with Autism in Year 3. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide individualized support and ensure the student's academic and personal needs are met.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong background in working with students with special needs, either through personal experience or relevant qualifications (Psychology, Health and Social Care, Speech and Language)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to remain patient and understanding in challenging situations
  • Initiative and drive to take on responsibilities and contribute to the school community
  • Right to work in the UK and relevant work experience
