Role Overview

The NHS is seeking a Senior Diabetes Specialist Podiatrist to join their team in East Sussex, providing expert care for patients with diabetes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team integrating physical and psychological support.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure the provision of high-quality specialist podiatry care to patients with diabetic feet, working closely with healthcare professionals in primary and secondary care.
  • To develop and maintain effective working relationships with health professionals, both within and outside the trust.
  • To participate in team meetings, updates on developments in the field of diabetes, and regional and local expert reference groups.

This is a Band 7 position, and as such, we require a highly skilled individual who can lead and mentor junior staff members. The successful candidate will have experience of managing complex diabetic foot problems and a strong understanding of evidence-based care packages.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
