**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in Chester-le-Street. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in creating a welcoming and customer-focused environment that drives sales and delivers excellent customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide support to the Store Manager in motivating and leading the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.

• Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences, and work with the team to deliver personalized service.

• Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions that drive sales and customer engagement.

• Manage and maintain a high level of store appearance and presentation, ensuring that the store is clean, tidy, and well-organized.

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to identify and address any customer complaints or issues, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

• Provide training and development opportunities to the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.

**Requirements**

• Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and excellent customer service.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address customer complaints and issues.

• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

• Strong knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and store management.
