Ecological Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecologist to join our team at Greenbridge Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to develop their skills and gain great exposure to all stages of projects in the Rail and Construction sectors.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of experience in the Ecology sector, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Wildlife and Countryside Act and the Conservation of Habitats and Species Regulations. They will also have excellent report writing and communication skills, as well as strong project management and organisational skills.
The role will involve conducting ecological surveys and reports, providing ecological advice and toolbox talks, and watching briefs and supporting vegetation management operatives and clients. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of protected species and will be able to obtain the necessary licenses and qualifications.
Salary will be in the region of £27,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and licenses/qualifications. Benefits include mobile phone, health care cash back & health insurance, sick pay, and life assurance.
