About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecologist to join our team at Greenbridge Recruitment. As a Consultant or Senior Ecologist, you will be working on a mix of WFH and site-based projects across England and Wales.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Ecologists to develop their skills within a small team and gain great exposure to all stages of projects. You will be involved in ECoW work, habitat surveys, and protected species surveys, as well as providing ecological advice and toolbox talks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ECoW work, habitat surveys, and protected species surveys
  • Client management, quote production, and report writing
  • Ecological surveys and reports
  • Providing ecological advice and toolbox talks
  • Watching briefs and supporting vegetation management operatives and clients

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years experience in the Ecology sector
  • Protected species licence or close to obtaining
  • Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification
  • Experience in Ecological Clerk of Works roles
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to undertake evening or weekend shifts
  • Existing right to live and work in the UK

Benefits:

Salary in the region of £27,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and licences/qualifications. Benefits include mobile phone, health care cash back, health insurance, sick pay, and life assurance.
