As a Poppy Appeal Manager in South East London, you will lead the successful execution of the Poppy Appeal initiative for The Royal British Legion. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve income, expenditure, and contribution targets, ensuring the appeal's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Income Generation: Collaborate with the Regional Poppy Appeal Manager to create and manage an income and expenditure budget, providing monthly commentary.
- Relationship Management: Oversee a portfolio of regional corporate partnerships and engage with internal departments to achieve collective goals.
- Poppy Appeal Activity Planning: Recruit and induct new Poppy Appeal Organisers, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources for success.
- Representative Role: Represent The Royal British Legion locally, engaging in outreach activities and providing updates to key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Commercial knowledge and financial management skills.
- Experience in supporter relationship management.
- Strong planning, organizational, and IT skills.
- Ability to assess the commercial implications of decisions.
The ideal candidate will be a team player who can engage with diverse client groups and showcase effective communication skills both in writing and verbally.
