Lead the Poppy Appeal in South East London to Success
The Royal British Legion is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Poppy Appeal Manager to lead the appeal in South East London. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for achieving income, expenditure, and contribution targets, ensuring the success of the appeal.
Collaborating with the Regional Poppy Appeal Manager, you will create and manage an income and expenditure budget, providing monthly commentary. Your responsibilities will include coordinating local supporters, partners, and volunteers, building relationships to maximize fundraising potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Poppy Appeal budget and provide regular commentary
- Coordinate local supporters, partners, and volunteers
- Build relationships to maximize fundraising potential
- Represent the Royal British Legion locally and engage in outreach activities
Requirements:
- Commercial knowledge and financial management skills
- Experience in supporter relationship management
- Strong planning, organizational, and IT skills
- Ability to assess the commercial implications of decisions
