Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join our Oncology Service. This is a 12-month fixed-term position, and the successful candidate will have significant experience in managing complex patients with cancer diagnoses.

The role involves leading a team of physiotherapists, supervising staff, and developing leadership skills. You will work collaboratively with the specialist multi-disciplinary team on in-patient wards and support cross-covering the Haematology caseload.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical and leadership skills in a dynamic environment. You will have access to regular clinical supervision and training opportunities with a budget to support this.

Please note that this post is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.

About the Role:
  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in the management of complex patients
  • Supervise and develop junior staff members
  • Develop leadership skills and manage the service effectively
  • Collaborate with the specialist multi-disciplinary team
  • Support cross-covering the Haematology caseload
Requirements:
  • Significant post-registration experience in an inpatient specialty
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
