About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Acute Medicine Service, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and leading the development of our acute medicine services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership to the Acute Medicine Service
  • Develop and implement standards, procedures, and systems to ensure safe and efficient patient care
  • Supervise junior medical staff and provide educational programs for junior doctors
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines

Requirements

  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
  • On Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Acute Medicine and general internal medicine or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
  • MRCP or equivalent
