About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Physician to join our team in Acute Medicine at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Acute Medicine service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical expertise and leadership to the Acute Medicine team
  • Develop and implement effective care pathways and clinical guidelines
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff
  • Contribute to educational programs and clinical audits
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to improve patient outcomes

Person Specification

We are looking for a Consultant Physician with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Registered with the GMC and licensed to practice
  • On the Specialist Register with GMC as a specialist in Acute Medicine and general internal medicine or eligible for CCT within 6 months of date of interview
  • MRCP or equivalent
