Job Title: Human Factors Senior Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Factors Senior Consultant to join our team at TÜV Rheinland Group. As a key member of our Human Factors team, you will play a critical role in delivering our strategy for growth in high-hazard industries.

About the Role

As a Human Factors Senior Consultant, you will provide technical expertise and support to our clients and colleagues, working on projects that involve:

  • Human Factors Integration and Human Factors Engineering support to design and engineering projects.
  • Training development and delivery.
  • Safety Case support for claims on operators.

You will work closely with our team to deliver high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical Human Factors support to colleagues and clients.
  • Work on projects that involve Human Factors Integration and Human Factors Engineering support to design and engineering projects.
  • Develop and deliver training programs.
  • Support Safety Case development for claims on operators.
Requirements
  • A degree (BEng, BSc, or MSc) or equivalent in Human Factors / Ergonomics or a related subject.
  • Chartered Ergonomist & Human Factors Specialist certification.
  • 5+ years of applied Human Factors/Ergonomics experience, and/or 2+ years of applied Human Factors/Ergonomics in the Nuclear sector.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Experience of working in one or more high-hazard industries (e.g. nuclear).
  • Experienced in project management and used to independent working.
  • Experience in a consultancy environment and all non-technical aspects of such works, for example, proposal writing.
