Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Social, Emotional Mental Health needs in a dynamic learning environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm, term time only, commencing as soon as possible. You will predominantly be based within the classroom offering support to all students, in addition to some 1:1 or small group work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEND needs
  • Assist teachers in managing behavior and ensuring student engagement
  • Contribute to lesson preparation and activities tailored to student needs
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • SEND experience and a passion for working with students with emotional needs
  • An empathetic approach to supporting students with challenging behaviors
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Benefits:
