We are currently recruiting experienced Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurses to join our team at Cygnet Paddocks in Widnes.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a purpose-built service designed to provide a dedicated pathway for adults affected by an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for producing high-quality written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations.
  • Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to enhance your knowledge and promote best practices in nursing.
  • Under the guidance of NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete and maintained collectively with residents, relatives, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Administer prescribed medicines following established healthcare procedures and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, patients, and their support networks.
  • Preparedness to undertake the physical care needs of patients, demonstrating a hands-on approach to nursing care.
  • Advocate for patient rights and well-being with a commitment to providing patient-centred care and ensuring their voices are at the forefront of treatment.

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum depending on experience.
