Teaching Science with Passion and Dedication

We are seeking an experienced Science Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in Merton, South London. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and stimulating lessons across various science disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to make a meaningful impact on students' scientific knowledge and skills. As a Science Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality science lessons to students at KS3, KS4, and KS5, fostering their curiosity and nurturing their scientific potential.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching approaches and resources, ensuring students receive a comprehensive education in science.
  • Effectively assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development.
  • Collaborate with other science teachers to enhance the school's science curriculum, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A relevant science degree (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching science at KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • A passion for science education and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
