About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Awel Y Mor, a welcoming home for adults with autism. As a Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals, helping them to lead active, socially valued, and fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bespoke care to individuals, including keeping accurate records.
  • Ensure physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
  • Be a positive role model and promote independence through activities.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and personal care.
  • Build meaningful relationships with the people we support.
Requirements
  • A can-do attitude and resilient nature.
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and reliably as part of a team.
  • Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Candidates with a full UK licence and access to their own vehicle is essential due to the rural location of the home.
