Tax Manager

Your new company is a high-growth renewable energy business based in London, seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic qualified Tax Manager to join the company's growing finance function.
Your New RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for tax compliance, business advisory, and tax planning on behalf of the group. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice on the company's tax strategy.
- Prepare and file all direct and indirect tax returns, while liaising closely with external advisors and the wider finance team.
- Develop and implement the group tax strategy.
- Provide tax planning and review current tax strategies, identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
- Support tax-related aspects of M&A transactions.
- Manage tax payments and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to tax legislation and emerging tax laws.
- Report to the Financial Controller & Finance Director.
To succeed in this position, you will be a qualified Chartered Tax Advisor with in-depth knowledge of UK tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles. You will have experience working across VAT and corporation tax assignments and ideally, some exposure to M&A tax and transfer pricing. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging environment and have an interest in the renewable energy sector.
