Transformation Specialist in Aging Medicine

About the Role
The Transformation Unit is seeking a highly skilled physician to join their team as a Transformation Specialist in Aging Medicine. The successful candidate will have a CCT in elderly care medicine and extensive experience in delivering inpatient and outpatient elderly medical care. They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to make decisions at the level of a consultant and lead a team of junior trainees.
Estimated Salary: £180,000 - £250,000 per annum
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a physician to join the Transformation Unit and contribute to the development of innovative geriatric services. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective clinical services. Additionally, they will participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement geriatric services that meet the needs of older adults
- Lead a team of junior trainees and consultants in providing high-quality patient care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement effective clinical services
- Participate in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes
Required Qualifications and Skills
- CCT in elderly care medicine (or within 6 months of achieving at the time of application)
- Experience in delivering inpatient and outpatient elderly medical care
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to make decisions at the level of a consultant
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Evidence of good spoken and written English
