Senior Circuit Design Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Advanced Circuit Engineer to join our team in Leonardo SpA. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge circuit designs, collaborating with Hardware and Microwave engineers across various projects.

About the Role:

This role will involve creating innovative circuit designs, from import of schematics to accurate design documentation (Gerbers, Assembly drawings, and BOMs). You will use and develop your skills to deliver complex designs while utilizing the latest Siemens toolchain, complying with defence and industry standards. Additionally, you will participate in project meetings and provide advice to electronic engineers relating to design rules for circuit tools, materials, and substrate technology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in creating complex multi-layer circuits with multiple design interfaces, validating design data, and creating manufacturing output data packs. Familiarity with 3D modelling and mechanical integration for circuit assemblies, as well as knowledge of power electronics and related thermal management challenges, is also essential. A HNC/HND or relevant degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing is required, along with hands-on experience with circuit manufacturing, testing, and/or assembly processes (DFM/DFX).
