About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Clinical Wellbeing team at Wessex Lodge School. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively to deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils.

With a strong background in SEN education and a passion for therapeutic intervention, you will be responsible for holding an Occupational Therapy caseload alongside other OTs at Wessex Lodge School and associated children's homes. You will also contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice, working closely with our well-established and knowledgeable Clinical Team.

As a resilient and enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach, you will be able to make decisions and manage your own workload effectively. You will also have the opportunity to enrich the lives of the people we support and make a positive difference in a role where you have autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils
  • Hold an Occupational Therapy caseload alongside other OTs
  • Contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Team to achieve shared goals

Essential Criteria:

  • Occupational Therapy degree
  • Sensory Integration trained to minimum Practitioner level (PGCert) or willingness to complete this training
  • Registered with HCPC and RCOT
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in SEN education, or with a similar caseload, as an Occupational Therapist
