About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Clinical Wellbeing team at Wessex Lodge School. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our pupils, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hold a caseload of Occupational Therapy sessions at Wessex Lodge School and its associated children's homes
  • Develop and implement individualized assessment and intervention plans in collaboration with our clinical and educational teams
  • Contribute to staff training, consultation, and reflective practice to ensure high-quality care and education for our pupils
  • Work collaboratively with our Clinical Locality Lead and Head of Clinical Operations to develop and implement clinical strategies and initiatives

Essential Criteria

  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY DEGREE
  • Sensory Integration trained to minimum Practitioner level (PGCert) or willingness to complete this training
  • Registered with HCPC and RCOT
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working in SEN education, or with a similar caseload, as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience of managing a complex caseload
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities
  • Full valid UK driving licence, access to a car and ability to drive extended distances across the Locality, when required
