Job Title: HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team at Updraftplus. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for managing employee relations, recruitment, and training & development programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive alignment between HR strategy and business goals.

About the Role

This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about developing people and driving business growth. You will work closely with our management team to ensure that our HR function is running smoothly and efficiently.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow the HR function at Updraftplus
  • Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
  • Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance
  • Manage employee relations, including disciplinary processes and formal grievances
  • Ensure compliance with employment regulations and develop policies and procedures as needed
  • Monitor attendance and sick leave records
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR role
  • People-oriented and results-driven mindset
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
