Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Forensic Mental Health Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day psychological therapies service to Forensic Mental Health Service users, carers, referral agencies, and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise psychological therapy staff in the specified area and manage aspects of their work as directed by the Head of Adult Mental Health.
- Plan, facilitate, and evaluate service and policy developments within the area and within the wider department.
- Work in community settings, inpatient, and prison settings to provide psychological therapies to individuals with complex mental health needs.
We offer a supportive and lively work environment with opportunities for professional development and growth. Our team has strong links with Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Stirling Universities, and we take trainees from both Clinical Psychology and Masters courses. We also provide placements and supervision for CBT Therapists.
We have a dedicated CPD and supervision time, and flexible working arrangements may be considered.
