We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Adult Psychology team in NHS Scotland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to older adults in Dumfries and Galloway.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for older adults with mental health needs
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including CBT, systemic, ACT, IPT, and EMDR
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in regular staff meetings and supervision to ensure high-quality care and professional development
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve mental health services for older adults
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience working with older adults with mental health needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
