Job Title: Senior Service Solutions Architect

As a Senior Service Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the digital strategy of our organization. You will be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring the development of high-quality software solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams to proactively identify and resolve technical issues and risks.
  • Develop and implement robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and objectives and translate them into comprehensive technical strategies.
  • Design and implement digital architectural designs that support the Digital Strategy and long-term vision of the organization.
  • Ensure the links, formal reporting, and communications of work between teams are optimized and regularly reviewed for effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related subject or demonstrable equivalent experience of working at senior level in relevant area in technical architecture, systems design software development or related field.
  • Related agile/devops qualification.
  • Related Microsoft technology certifications.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading teams of software and technical developers ranging in levels of skill and experience.
  • Experience managing external contractors and engineering Suppliers.
  • Substantial experience of design, build, and deployment of software engineering functions in a large/complex organization.
  • Substantial experience in developing web software using.NET C# and ASP technology stack.
  • Experience working with and designing complex data and software architectures.
  • Experience engineering an Electronic Health Record platforms in the NHS.
  • Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium, and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly.
  • Well-presented, flexible, positive, resilient, methodical, team player.
  • Knowledge of practical application of agile development methodologies.
  • Practical knowledge of software development lifecycle standards and timescales appropriate to units of work required.
  • Practical knowledge of data warehouse operational development and benefits realisation.
  • Knowledge of NHS England digital strategies, policies, and guidance.
  • Knowledge of hospital services and how services interlink.
