Join Greater Manchester Police as a Solution Architect

We are seeking an exceptional Solution Architect to deliver the Solution Architect function across a portfolio of IT programmes of work. Reporting to the Senior Solutions Architect, this role will see you at the forefront of delivering innovative technology within Greater Manchester Police, an organisation that is developing its IT capacity and is a dynamic, fun place to work.

About the Role

This exciting and varied role will enable you to be at the heart of keeping Greater Manchester safe and is a hybrid role which will see you in the office 1-2 days a week. You will be responsible for delivering the Solution Architect function across a portfolio of IT programmes of work, working closely with the Senior Solutions Architect and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the Solution Architect function across a portfolio of IT programmes of work
  • Work closely with the Senior Solutions Architect and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of IT programmes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to IT teams to ensure successful delivery of IT programmes
  • Identify and mitigate risks to IT programmes, ensuring successful delivery and minimal disruption to business operations
