Job Summary:
The Deputy Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to residents in a care home setting. This will involve providing specialist support and advice, taking charge of resident care in the absence of the Home Manager, and supervising and coaching colleagues to provide a high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of residents
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and care staff to deliver high-quality care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care delivery
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) qualification
- Experience in a care home setting, preferably in a senior management role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
