Enhance Platform Uptime and Efficiency

A leading bank in London, UK, is seeking a Trading Systems Engineer/SRE to join their E-Trading team as a permanent employee. In this role, you will be responsible for improving platform uptime, monitoring/alerting, and automation to enhance server efficiency and performance.

The ideal candidate will have a production/application support background with an SRE skill set, experience in E-Trading Support - any asset class, and proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl. Additionally, the ability to monitor tooling experience and work on low latency trading platforms/Latency monitoring is desirable.

This position offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Improve platform uptime and efficiency through monitoring/alerting and automation.
  • Develop and maintain the monitoring/observability stack utilizing APIs, plugins, and tooling.
  • Collaborate with the E-Trading team to ensure smooth platform operations.
