The Vacancy

Wates Group has an exciting opportunity for a Disrepair Maintenance Manager to join their team within the Disrepair Maintenance Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high quality service delivery through work scheduling, adhering to company procedures, standards, and SLAs.
  • Represent Wates at client and resident performance meetings as requested by the Operations Manager.
  • Manage the responsive repairs function to achieve consistent performance against targets.
  • Effectively manage material costs and ensure adherence to correct processes and procedures.
  • Monitor quality of work through inspection, inspection reports, analysis of key performance indicators, and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Lead, manage, and contribute to the development of the team, determining optimal employment levels to meet service requirements.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, and capacity to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Prior responsive maintenance experience and a minimum SSSTS qualification.
