About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled pharmacist to join our team in the Centralised Aseptic Unit. As an Advanced Pharmacist Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred aseptic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of aseptic services, including participation in audits and service improvement plans.
  • Assist in the supervision and training of staff and students in the speciality, acting as a role model.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems, including GMP and Section 10 guidelines.
  • Manage and administer resources related to aseptic dispensing, including staff, equipment, and facilities.
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Postgraduate diploma or masters in a relevant field.
  • Experience in aseptic services, including clinical verification of prescriptions and working in a GMP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical information systems and pharmacy computer systems.
  • Ability to work calmly and accurately under pressure, with excellent critical appraisal skills.
