**Head of Commercial Operations**

We are seeking an experienced Head of Commercial Operations to join our team at Hunterston B power station.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commercial operations function, ensuring the successful delivery of assigned projects. As part of a large client lead team at EDF's Hunterston B Power Station, they will support multiple projects in the UK-wide project portfolio.

This role is accountable to the client PPM for successful delivery of assigned projects, setting project execution strategy in agreement with the client PPM using a cross-functional project team. The position is based at the EDF Hunterston B Power Station with occasional business travel to other UK sites/stations. Flexible working arrangements are possible.

  • APMP formal project management qualification or equivalent, and expertise in modern project management techniques.
  • A thorough understanding and knowledge of engineering, design, procurement, safety case, construction, and installation/commissioning management and commercial contracting.
  • A good understanding of quality needs and how quality is assured and controlled.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ideally across complex multi-discipline projects and environments.
  • Experience in estimating, cost control, planning, and commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in the use of reporting, estimating, scheduling, programming, and risk tools, and Earned Value tools.

Experience working at power stations and nuclear licensed sites is preferred but not essential.
