Job Summary

The Morson Talent Careers are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and information risk matters within the Product Security Engineering (PSyE) team are effectively managed.

About the Role

This role involves applying deep level of subject matter expertise and experience to ensure that submarine systems and products are designed, built and delivered with security in mind. You will support the appropriate authorities/management to ensure the delivered solutions meet the specified contractual and regulatory requirements and can be operated securely, correctly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply subject matter expertise and experience to ensure security and information risk matters within the PSyE team are effectively managed.
  • Support the appropriate authorities/management to ensure delivered solutions meet specified contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and advice to other functional and capability areas to support overall project delivery and performance.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a good understanding of the systems and technologies used on board the product. Additionally, you should have knowledge of the applicable regulations, standards, policies and guidance on cyber security and PSyE.

Benefits

This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment. You will work from home approximately 2-3 days a week and in the office on the remaining days. The salary for this role is £83.41 per hour, inside IR35 (umbrella). SC clearance is required for this position.
