Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Risk Engineer to join our Engineering Delivery Team at Iceberg, a British Multinational defense organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing hands-on risk-based set of cybersecurity requirements for systems or subsystems.

About the Role

You will lead the development of risk-based cybersecurity requirements, provide essential technical guidance, and conduct in-depth cybersecurity analysis. Your responsibilities will include creating threat taxonomies, designing and implementing security architectures and risk mitigations.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting in-depth cybersecurity analysis to identify potential risks and threats
  • Developing and implementing risk-based cybersecurity requirements to mitigate identified risks
  • Designing and implementing security architectures to ensure the highest level of security
  • Supporting engineering reviews and design assurance activities to maintain the highest security standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A security baseline or engineering background with a lifecycle phased approach
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including hybrid working arrangements, opportunities for professional development, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
