Crime Investigator Assistant Job Opportunity: Red Snapper Recruitment Limited is currently seeking a highly skilled Crime Investigator Assistant to join our team in Southampton. As a Crime Investigator Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting investigators in the investigation of serious and complex crime.

About the Position:

We are a leading recruitment agency specializing in public safety, housing & enterprise security roles. Our mission is to provide exceptional service to our clients, and we are looking for someone who shares this commitment.

As a Crime Investigator Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the investigation of criminal offences and occurrences, including interviewing suspects, gathering and developing intelligence, and preparing evidential files for submission to CPS.

You will also be responsible for supporting officers with their development, identifying and addressing any training needs, and contributing to the overall performance of the team.

In addition, you will be expected to maintain accurate records and ensure that all relevant data is up-to-date and secure.


Essential Requirements:
  • To be computer/keyboard literate and a competent keyboard user.
  • Educated to QCF Level 2 three to five passes including English and Mathematics or to have relevant work experience deemed to have brought the post holder to a similar level.
  • Full driving licence
  • Accredited to either PIP1 or PIP2 level
