Regional Organising Specialist

UNISON is the UK's leading public sector trade union, with over 1.3 million members providing essential services and utilities.
We are looking for a Regional Organising Specialist to work in campaigns across Essex, recruiting new members, motivating them to take an active role, and identifying new activists.
The successful candidate will have experience in one-to-one communications, recruitment, organising, and campaigning, with knowledge of trade unionism and our values.
You will need to be flexible with your working hours and willing to travel, based at our regional office in Chelmsford.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit new members and motivate them to take an active role in campaigns
- Identify and develop new activists to deliver winning campaigns
- Work closely with local activists to build member participation and achieve specific wins
Requirements:
- Experience in one-to-one communications, recruitment, organising, and campaigning
- Knowledge of trade unionism and UNISON's values
- Ability to work flexibly and travel as required
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience
