We are seeking a dedicated SEND EYFS Teacher to join our team at a Client School located in Trafford Manchester.

Job Description

The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and developing SEND curriculum at the primary level, ensuring it is engaging, age-appropriate, and meets the needs of primary level SEND learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing SEND curriculum at the primary level in line with national and local standards.
  • Delivering high-quality science instruction, utilizing a range of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Designing and implementing assessments to gauge students' understanding and progress.
  • Identifying and addressing the diverse learning needs of students by providing extra support or enrichment opportunities.
  • Collaborating with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.

Requirements:

  • PGCE with QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
  • SEND EYFS teaching experience at the primary level preferably in the last 2 years is essential.
  • Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
  • Be committed to child protection, safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
