Job Description:

GSL Education is committed to providing high-quality education services, and we are seeking a skilled SEND EYFS Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing SEND curriculum at the primary level, delivering high-quality science instruction, and collaborating with other science teachers and faculty members.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop SEND curriculum at the primary level, ensuring it is engaging, age-appropriate, and meets the needs of primary level SEND learners.
  • Deliver high-quality science instruction, utilizing a range of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Design and implement assessments to gauge students' understanding and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning.
  • Identify and address the diverse learning needs of students by providing extra support or enrichment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other science teachers and faculty members to align teaching strategies, share resources, and develop interdisciplinary projects that integrate science with other subjects.
Requirements:
  • PGCE with QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
  • SEND EYFS teaching experience at the primary level preferably in the last 2 years is essential.
  • Have the capability to foster curiosity and interest among SEND Pupils.
  • Strong command of the curriculum and good behaviour management skills.
  • Be committed to child protection, safeguarding and pupil welfare.
  • Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
