Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Keswick Reach Lodge Retreat in Cockermouth, Cumbria.

This is a permanent position requiring full-time hours, with a variable schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the business, particularly during peak periods.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the kitchen team with daily operations, overseeing portion control, waste management, and food preparation. They will also be responsible for stock rotation, ordering, and ensuring that all menus and specials boards are accurately priced.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred, with a Level 3 Food Safety qualification. A driving license and ability to drive are advantageous for easy travel to and from the resort.
