Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Concierge to join our team at our accommodation service in Oldham. As a Night Concierge, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular security checks and monitor CCTV to ensure the building is secure.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients at all times, including using safeguarding and emergency alert procedures as applicable.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, or services visiting the building at night.
  • Keep accurate records of all work, activities, and entries to and from the building while on shift.

Requirements

  • Understanding of the needs of people who have experienced homelessness, poor mental health, substance use, or care leavers.
  • Experience of managing the overnight safety of vulnerable clients, preferably in supported housing.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills to ensure accurate handover of information between shifts.
  • Experience of undertaking basic maintenance and/or delivering cleaning services.
