About the Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Senior Pensions Administrator to join Alexander Lloyd, a market-leading Pensions Consultancy based in Croydon, Surrey.

As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administration services to a portfolio of Pension Schemes, mainly Defined Benefits but may also include Defined Contribution schemes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing complex BAU Administration cases and supporting on member and client queries related to DB and some DC pension schemes.
  • Assisting with processing calculations and payments of scheme benefits.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and confidently supporting on member inquiries.
  • Mentoring and allocating work to junior members of the team.
  • Deputising for the Team Leader when required.

Key skills and experience required include:

  • Current administration experience of Defined Benefits schemes, with knowledge of Defined Contributions desirable but not essential.
  • Strong manual calculation experience.
  • Experience in coaching and supporting less experienced administrators, including checking work.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

This is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience.
