Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Milk Tanker Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a key member of our transport team, you will be responsible for delivering bulk milk to dairies across the UK, with a focus on transhipment roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver bulk milk to dairies across the UK, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Manage transhipment roles, coordinating with the transport team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with the transport team to maintain regular contact and manage customer expectations.
  • Drive in rural areas, adhering to company guidelines and regulations.
  • Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE or Class 2 C Licence.
  • Be in possession of a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Experience with fridge trailers is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
  • Be passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
  • Work effectively under deadlines and pressure.
  • Be a confident, polite, and team-oriented individual.
  • Have good geographical knowledge and be physically fit.
