We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Daisy Hill Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and caring individual to work as a Healthcare Assistant in our busy hospital environment. You will be responsible for providing support to patients with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort and happiness. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting patients with their daily routines, such as bathing and dressing
  • Monitoring patients' health signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
  • Encouraging patients to participate in activities and hobbies to boost their mood and well-being
  • Communicating effectively with patients and the healthcare team to ensure their needs are met
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment
  • The right to work in Northern Ireland
  • Availability for day and night shifts
  • Valid inoculations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB)
