We are seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Craigavon Area Hospital. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to our patients.

About the Role

We require candidates with a minimum of 6 months experience in an acute care setting. You will be working day shifts between 7am-8pm, and we offer market-leading pay rates, exceptional support, and opportunities for career progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with their daily needs, ensuring their comfort and happiness.
  • Monitor patients' health signs and record them, enabling prompt action if necessary.
  • Encourage patients to engage in activities and hobbies to boost their mood and well-being.
  • Ensure patients' wishes are respected by communicating with them and the healthcare team.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, essential for patients' recovery and peace of mind.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • 6 months experience in a healthcare environment
  • Right to work in Northern Ireland
  • Availability for day and night shifts
  • Valid inoculations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB)
