This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Doctor in Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. Our highly specialised adult pain management service with a fully integrated neuromodulation unit offers a unique chance to work with a friendly and enthusiastic team.
Main DutiesThe post holder will work independently in community pain clinics and attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) clinics. They will be competent in the full repertoire of pain management injections and perform these interventions at Mile End Hospital and other operating suites at Barts Health.
The post holder will assist and operate in neuromodulation lists according to the case mix and their specialist skills. They will also be responsible for maintaining the National Neuromodulation Registry (NNR) and presenting a Complex Programming Clinic report for discussion.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain medicine and neuromodulation, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to work. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
The post holder will be expected to have a postgraduate medical or surgical qualification, with GMC registration and a license to practice. They will also be expected to have experience in clinical audit and/or research, with evidence of academic work outside their MBBS course.
