We are seeking an experienced Avionic Supervisor to join our team at Boeing Defence UK (BDUK). As a key member of our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective execution of maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of technicians in the execution of maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures.
- Coordinate and control technical work requirements, distributing and sequencing tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor and report on maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other business functions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including MAA Regulatory Articles (RA) and MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145.
- Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging industry best practices and innovative solutions.
- Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or trade experience equivalent.
- Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance and processes applicable to the aviation environment.
- Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
