About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement Operations to join our team at Smart DCC. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will play a crucial role in driving our Procurement transformation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose Procurement Strategy and Policy, aligning with Ofgem and DESNZ regulations.
  2. Lead the change management approach across the organization, embedding the Procurement Strategy and Policy.
  3. Collaborate with the Procurement team and Commercial Operations and Planning team to meet external audit demands.
  4. Roll out Ivalua and other key technologies to drive streamlined and efficient processes.
  5. Embed DCC's Responsible Business Framework (RBF) within the Procurement function and across the supply chain.
Requirements:
  1. Significant senior Procurement experience with a track record of implementing streamlined processes.
  2. Drafting and refining best-in-class Procurement policies.
  3. Understanding of regulated and non-regulated Procurement and sourcing environments.
  4. Dynamic and forward-thinking self-starter with a strong analytical mindset.
  5. Proven ability to work in an open and auditable way, with extensive risk management experience.
